Information about the support Information Compliance Services provide to help staff across the University comply with information legislation. Information Compliance Services supports the University's compliance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the right of subject access requirements under data protection legislation. We provide a service to all areas of the University by coordinating complex freedom of information, environmental information and subject access requests. We do this by working with the areas responsible for the information. Where requests are not complex, we provide advice to help areas respond to requests directly. We also provide guidance and training on information compliance. The Information Compliance Services website provides information about freedom of information, environmental and subject access requests. If you need help with information requests, please see the information on our website or contact us. Organisational structure We are part of the Legal Services professional services department in the University Secretary’s Group and are located in Old College.
